What’s up?! My name is AJ Poland. Some of you may know me as AJP The MC, some of you might know me as one half of The Z-Listers Podcast. And some of you may be reading this asking yourself, who is this guy and why is he starting a blog in 2025? 

Fair question. 

The thing is, my brain never really shuts up. I make music, I host a podcast, but not every idea fits into a verse or works as part of a conversation. Some thoughts just need their own space to breathe, and that’s where this blog comes in.

There won’t be any theme here. There’s no end goal. No “new post every Friday!” kind of deal. Just writing, half-baked thoughts and random ideas. I’m making this as my own little digital zine. Some of it will be deep, some of it will be dumb. I might go off about the history of a sport you’ve never heard of, or do a deep dive into some random internet lore you haven’t thought about in over a decade.

Maybe you’ll find something cool here. Maybe you’ll learn something new. Maybe you’ll read a post and wonder, who cares this much about [insert random topic]? Either way, I’m glad you’re here.
